After admiring the beautiful irises, we moved to Usagiya.
It has many kinds of menus like softy, parfeit, crapes, kakigori(shaved ice with syrup) and Kaitenyaki.
Kaitenyaki is round-shaped pancake filled with azuki bean paste.
Have you heard of Taiyaki?
Kaitenyaki and Taiyaki is almost the same and the only difference is in their shape.
‘Tai’ means red snapper which is considered to be luxury and fortunate fish.
I want to make it clear that Taiyaki don’t include the real tai!!
Usagiya offers many kinds of kaitenyaki.
Not just Azuki bean paste, but also maccha, sweet potato paste, chocolate and savory ones like ham and cheese etc.
It’s just 90 yen each so please try some and share with your friends!
This time we tried softy with iced coffee and parfeit.
They looked so lovely and the taste was also great.
There are some seats outside so we had seats and enjoyed talking.
It’s a perfect place to take rest after wandering along the river!!
